Me and my blog

I am a marine biology student at the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia) currently studying on exchange at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I often have something stupid to say so I [try to] post here regularly about my school, my adventures, my random thoughts, and chicken. Occasionally you may notice some kind of vague reference to the television phenomenon known as Lost. It is no secret that I was (and still am) a die-hard-core fan of the show and that I often implement aspects of it in my day-to-day life. I also quote lines from the film Mean Girls. Finally, because I'm in Hawai`i you'll notice that I start my posts with 'aloha' and sign off with 'a hui hou kakou'. The latter translates to something along the lines of "until next time" - I find it more appropriate than saying 'mahalo' ("thank you") at the end of each post... But thank you for reading!
